Three Ways To Rock Platinum Blonde Hair

Platinum blonde hair is one of the chicest, most glamorous, and yet hardest to style colours of all. After all, it’s uncommon and rarely seen in real life. But hey, what’s not to love? If you want to have platinum blonde hair but don’t know how to style it properly, here are three ways to rock platinum blonde hair!

Three Ways To Rock Platinum Blonde Hair

Don’t feel like getting your hair bleached yet? Worry not, Zala Hair Extensions is here to the rescue! We have plenty of platinum blonde hair extensions for your pleasure, like the 20-inch ice queen platinum blonde clip-in, and if you want something longer, the 24-inch ice queen.

Silky Straight Hair

Silky Straight Hair

Platinum blonde hair is already eye-catching all by itself since it’s so uncommon after all. Keep your locks silky straight and you’re bound to make every head in the room turn to your direction.

  1. After washing your hair, use a blow dryer to make sure it’s evenly dried.
  2. Use the ZALA Ceramic Touch Professional Straightener for the most natural looking straight hair.
  3. Comb through your hair one more time to keep your hair smooth and straight!

Volume Curls

While silky straight platinum blonde hair is already an amazing sight to behold, you can still outdo yourself by adding some volume curls to the mix. Volume curls can transform even the blandest style into something more exciting, so if you’re looking to spice up your looks, you should definitely try this out.

  1. Divide your hair into large sections. The larger the section, the larger the curls, so keep that in mind.
  2. Get your ZALA 4-in-1 Cosmo Curling Wand. Start from the bottom and work your way up.
  3. Shake your curls to loosen them up a bit. Add some finishing touches and you’re done!

Braided Up do

A braided up do is perfect for formal nights and parties. It’s the perfect way to appear sophisticated, classy, and elegant with your platinum blonde hair. Want to appear more laidback? A loose bun will do the trick!

  1. For this look, we’re doing the rope braided up do. Start off by parting your hair in the middle.
Begin with a rope braid on one side of your hair. All you have to do is to take two small sections of your hair, then swap them with each other. Get some hair from the lower part and add it to the sectioned hair. Swap again, then get more hair. Rinse and repeat.
  2. Once you’ve finished both sides, wrap the ends of both braids around to make a bun. Use bobby pins to secure them in place and you’re done!
  3. We hope you enjoyed these 3 ways to rock your platinum blonde hair! What’s your favourite style? Feel free to comment down below!

2 Easy Hairstyles When You’re Travelling During The Holidays

For many people, the holidays are the perfect time for some much needed R&R. Many people take the opportunity to unwind, relax, and even travel during this season.

zala hair 2 easy haistyles when you're travelling during the holidays

When travelling during the holidays, it can be quite a hassle to always have to get your hair out of your face. Especially if you’re moving around constantly, you’d want to keep your hair on your head, away from all the oil and sebum on your skin that can lead to dirty hair.

Take a look at these two easy hairstyles when you’re travelling during the holidays! And if you have short hair, don’t fret, you can choose any of these styles from our collection, like the 20″ Platinum Blonde and the 16″ Caramel!

zala hair bun

Hairstyle #1 – The Bun

The bun is a timeless classic, for good reason. Not only does it keep the hair out of your face, it also makes you look stylish and classy at the same time!

  1. Start by brushing all your hair back, from the front to the back of your head. Gather all the strands in one hand.
  2. For a messy bun look, pull some random strands away from your hair. For a fringe bun, take your fringes out of the gathered bunch. If you want a classier look, pull your hair towards the top of your head. For a more serious look, pull your hair towards the lower part of your head.
  3. Tie your hair with an elastic. Then, wrap your hair around the elastic until it’s fully covered. Use bobby pins to secure the bun.
  4. Add some finishing touches and you’re done!
zala hair high ponytail

Hairstyle #2 – The High Ponytail

If the bun is timeless, then the ponytail is immortal. After all, it’s quick, easy, and effortless. What more can you ask for?

  1. This works the same way as the bun, except for the ‘wrapping around the elastic’ part. After you brush all your hair back, pull it towards the top of your head and wrap with an elastic.
  2. If you really want to keep your hair out of your face, you can also braid the ponytail into one big braid. This is especially helpful if you’re backpacking and walking around a lot.
  3. To do the braid, just section your ponytail into three smaller parts. Cross one over the other, alternating as you go along. Secure the end with an elastic.
  4. Add some finishing touches and you’re ready to go on your adventure!

Bonus: Here’s a guide on how to put in your own Zala clip in ponytail hair extensions!

See, styling your hair when you’re travelling during the holidays doesn’t have to be a hassle! Let us know what’s your favorite holiday travel hairstyle in the comments below!

Whether you’ve got a crazy halloween party to go to or you would just like to dress up to get spooky, if you are looking for Halloween hair-spiration, you have come to the right place!

We have put together three drop dead gorgeous looks which will be perfect for Halloween.

We have a code for you! Use the code CREEP for $10 off!

It’s time to get freaky!

The Purge

Killer Halloween Looks

I absolutely love scary movies. Theres something so thrilling about being scared and feeling the adrenaline rush through your veins.

Did The Purge Movie freak you out or leave you wanting more? I wonder what I’d do if the Purge really happened. Would I secure my house and hide inside all day or would I run around killing people?

We put together this super simple yet creepy look inspired by the purge. All we needed was our ZALA ponytails, a white shirt and a mask!

You will need:

  1. Starting with a neat centre parting, tie your hair up into 2 sleep pig tails.

  2.  Apply 2 x 16 inch ponytails extensions to either side, securing with bobby pins.

Fortune Teller

Killer Halloween Looks

If you could look into a crystal ball and see the future, what would you want to see?

There is something so magical and mystical about this fortune teller look. I don’t know whether I would like to be able to tell the future or not!

We paired big voluptuous messy curls with a jingly head piece, some sparkles and some dark and mysterious makeup. This look has everything.

You will need:

  1. Section off your hair and apply 20 inch hair extensions for length and volume.

  2. Working in sections, curl your hair with the extensions using a medium sized barrel.

  3. Brush out the curls and use a volumizing powder for extra volume and texture.

Evil Mermaid

Killer Halloween Looks

Ever since watching the Little Mermaid at 4 years of age, I still sit by the water and pretend i have a tail instead of legs… no, really. Imagine spending your days swimming around with your mermaid friends! I’m definitely not the only girl who has had a fantasy about living under the sea with my best friend who’s a lobster.

Unfortunately, not all of the creatures below sea level are as friendly as Sebastian. Meet the Evil Mermaid…

This Evil Mermaid look was put together by curling some insanely long hair extensions. We added some colourful fishy makeup and threw on a long, flowy, colourful dress to mimic a tail.

You will need:

  1. Section off your hair and apply 26 inch hair extensions for dramatic length.

  2. Twist and curl your hair and the extensions around the wand to create beachy waves

  3. Apply a generous amount of ZALA Revive Me throughout to achieve wet looking hair.

Watch our YouTube video for a tutorial on how to achieve these looks!
