Little Something Eggstra (Princess Piggies)

This was apparently done by creating a two high ponytails on either side, and then creating a small net made out of ten elastics. Once all the elastics are in, slip an egg in and repeat until you run out of hair. But hey, in case you do run out of length, there’s ZALA Hair Extensions to the rescue, right?

Mr. Mustache Man (Etsy)

Mr. Mustache Man is one of the simplest crazy hair ideas on this list, but it’s also one of the most amusing ones. For this look, you basically just have to tie your hair back in one big ponytail, divide the said ponytail into two, and then clip-in Mr. Mustache Man to create a… er… Mr. Mustache Man look. Sadly, this fun clip is out of stock now, but at least you got some inspiration!

Festive Braids (@brownhairedbliss)

Tis the season of joy, ho ho ho! For a perfect crazy hair idea during the holidays, check out this super festive braid hairstyle! You probably already know how much we love braids here, so there’s no surprise that something like this would get a mention on our list.

Braided Kitty Cat Ears (CGH)

This hairstyle is so cute, I don’t even know what else I can possibly say! I’ll just post the simplified steps here, then.

How to make this crazy hair idea (edited from CGH’s blog):

Begin by sectioning off two small square sections of hair on either side of the middle part line, and secure them with an elastic band.
For the first ear, take two black pipe cleaners, twist them together, and then braid the two pipe cleaners as the “third” strand of a 3-strand braid. Secure with another elastic band.
Then, take the finished braid and bend it into a point in a spot that looks good to you, and continue on to fashion the kitty cat ear. Finish the ear by wrapping the end of the braid around the original base, which secures itself because of the pipe cleaners.
Repeat the same step on the other side.

Pumpkin Patch (Princess Piggies)

This honestly looks super gorgeous! I’d personally be happy to wear this myself to a Halloween party or something. The steps are a bit more complicated than the last one, though, so I suggest checking out the blog post yourself. It’s a crazy hair idea alright, but definitely a cute one!

Spiderweb Hair (@brownhairedbliss)

Last but definitely not the least is this spiderweb hairstyle that’s absolutely perfect for Halloween! Just look at the brilliant way those spiders are used as a hair accessory. If you’re looking for something more fun and much closer to the theme, this hairstyle is for you.
