Ladies! The holidays are over, now let’s discuss important hair matters- that is, how do we ensure that you are the envy of your year? Well read on as we show you our favourite back to school hairstyles for 2017 and how you can achieve this look.

High Ponytail

This high ponytail is the best way to ensure you are the most envied girl in your year. Your friends (and enemies) will be super jealous of how good your hair looks. (they won’t even know how easy it is to achieve this look.

What you will need:

  1. Zala Clip In Ponytail
  2. Bobby Pins
  3. Hair Elastic
  4. Tail Comb
  5. Hair Spray
  6. Soft Bristle Brush

Method: 

  1. Comb your hair back into a high ponytail and secure with a hair elastic.
  2. Spray your taught hair with hair spray and smooth down with a soft bristle brush
  3. Slide the comb from your Clip In Ponytail under your hair elastic, and secure the velcro
  4. Wrap the hair piece around the velcro and secure with a couple of bobby pins to conceal
  5. Feel like a princess during your lab tutorial

What you will need:

  3. Heat Protectant Spray
  4. Sectioning Clips
  5. Loop Brush
  6. Smoothing Serum

Method: 

  1. Apply heat protectant spray to your hair and ZALA Hair Extensions to ensure they are protected through styling.
  2. Section your hair into thirds and secure with sectioning clips
  3. Curl each section of your hair with your Cosmo Curling Wand
  4. Spray curls with hair spray to ensure they hold
  5. Brush out your curls with your loop brush
  6. Spray your hair once brushed with hair spray again to ensure your waves hold throughout your busy day

#3 Body Waves

Of course, this blog is not complete without featuring our favourite signature look of Body Waves. Big, voluminous body waves are a great way to spice up simpler high necklines. Whether you’re sporting a simple high neck t-shirt or classic black turtle neck, ZALA hair extensions will add beautiful volume and give you the bounciest curls. To Achieve voluminous body waves, follow the tutorial below:

What you need:

  1. ZALA Clip In Extensions or Tape Extensions
  2. ZALA Cosmo Curling Wand
  3. Sectioning Clips
  4. Heat Protectant Spray
  5. Tangle Teaser
  6. Hair Spray

How-to:

  1. Brush through your hair using the ZALA tangle teaser to remove any knots or tangles.
  2. Apply your clip-in extensions (otherwise if you have tapes, brush through your tape extensions).
  3. Spray your hair and extensions with the heat protectant to prevent any damage.
  4. Take the bottom third of your hair and section the rest up using the sectioning clips.
  5. Using the Cosmo Curling Wand, curl 1 inch sections of hair and repeat for each layer (your hair should be sectioned into thirds).
  6. Once your whole head is completely curled, lightly run through the hair with your fingers and spray lightly with hair spray.
  7. Voila! There you have your perfect body waves using ZALA Hair Extensions.
