Our top tips for blending:

When applying the ZALA Halo, start by placing the wire about 1 inch back from your hairline, then push the back of it down behind your occipital bone. It should nice and securely above your ears.
If you’re experiencing bunching, it may help to use the wire with two clips per side as this really helps the ZALA Halo sit nice and flat against your hair.
You may also find that bringing more of your natural hair over the top of the ZALA Halo will help it feel much more secure
Alternatively, we have had some customers use a few single clip in pieces on top of their ZALA Halo if they want extra security during the day. This will secure the ZALA Halo and provide more framing for your face.
Curling the ZALA Halo extensions as well as your own hair will also assist with blending and ensure the piece blends in with your natural hair texture.

Q: I’ve just brought ZALA hair extensions (tape) and only wear my hair up, could you show me some pustules with tape extensions?

A: Check out our YouTube Channel! We have a bunch of helpful style tutorials for tape, clip ins and ponytails!

Q: Can you sleep in clip in extensions?

A: Avoid sleeping in your hair extensions at all costs! It will cause them to feel dry. If you have tape ins, ALWAYS braid your hair at night and sleep on a silk pillow case. You can shop ZALA’s silk pillow cases here.

Q: Do you have Zip Pay?

A: We do not currently offer Zip Pay however we do offer Afterpay as a payment method! These is an amazing payment plan options with no added fees, allows for instant approval and can be paid off fortnightly.

A: Your ZALAs are able to be worn straight out of the packet however they will look much more natural if they are shaped and trimmed slightly by a professional!

A: We are based online only however offer full customer service support including FREE colour matching! All our products should be able to be taken to most salons for application or alterations.

Create two small Dutch braids on either side of your head
Apply hair extensions for added length and volume
Using a straightener, add some loose waves
Finish the look by applying hair rings to each braid

This classic look is a festival essential, especially on those last few days when your hair may be feeling a little lacklustre. This style allows for serious dancing on the DF and will stay place all day and all night. To achieve the look, follow these steps:

Start by creating a clean middle part all the way to the nape of the neck. Section off one side to prepare for your hair extensions.
The most important step when using hair extensions for double dutch braids is where you clip them in! And it’s super simple! Just turn them around and clip them in vertically ? This works best with using your 2 & 3 clip pieces. To ensure the pieces are undetectable once applied, section off the hair diagonally in line with where your braid will be and repeat on the other side. We recommend using at least 2 pieces per side for the best results!

Side Swept Braid

We love this easy to achieve and gorgeous, side swept braid that is perfect for any festival. It is perfect for dancing and will keep you cool on those warmer days. Follow the steps bellow to achieve this look:

For a longer, thicker braid, apply a few wefts on the side you want your braid
Flip your hair to once side, take a small section from the front and split into three
Create a Dutch braid by adding in more hair from either side as you go, crossing each part under and over into the middle
Once you get to the nape area, secure your hair into a low side ponytail (TIP: use a 1 clip piece hair extension to disguise your hair elastic)
Continue with a regular braid and secure with a hair elastic then use you fingers to gently loosen the braid
